Paint & Pixel Festival had an amazing debut! |
| Show attendance was strong and exceeded our expectations, with a constant flow of attendees coming into the hall throughout the day. As expected, attendees ran the gamut from art fans to fellow professionals to young adults to families, and the many kids at the show enjoyed seeing so many artists and illustrators in one place. | |
| Exhibitors seemed to really enjoy the intimate feel of the show space, many of them first-time exhibitors at the Northampton Center for the Arts. In addition to making sales, many exhibitors also expressed great enjoyment in the networking opportunity at the show and had a great time connecting with fellow artists. | |
| The Center for Cartoon Studies’ workshop on self-publishing and creating a mini-comic was filled to capacity and was a big hit with the crowd. | |
| As an unexpected treat, renowned fantasy and picture book artist Ruth Sanderson actually worked on an oil painting for an upcoming book cover at the show, giving attendees the very rare opportunity to see an artist at work. | |
All in all, it was a fabulous show! |
