Everett Soares

Everett Soares is the creator and writer of the steampunk comic book series, Sky Pirates of Valendor. Publishing his first miniseries within the world of Valendor through Free Lunch Comics, Everett has traveled the country promoting his series for the last three years. Beginning in 2011, Everett has taken on publishing duties of Sky Pirates of Valendor under the Jolly Rogue Studios label. Everett is also the writer for DarkBrain.com’s Mirror, Mirror and Rashida’s Ascension.

Joining Everett is his publicist and wife, Susan Soares. Susan joined the comic book industry in 2007 in effort to assist her husband in launching his very first comic book series. With a degree in Communications and a passion for promotions and public relations, Susan has since then built her own public relations firm, representing comic book creators who self-publish their own work.

Together, Everett and Susan have launched Jolly Rogue Studios in 2011 as a full production studio, offering services from writing and editing to the full art process to website and graphic design.
