Ain’t gonna hang no pixel |
| by Kevin Slattery |

In 1965, Bob Dylan put down his folk guitar and picked up an electric. This change made a huge impact on the world. Some time ago, but not that far back, an artist stopped painting with paint and switched to pixels. This change broke the heart of the girl who worked in the frame shop. A visually psychedelic tale from an artist who cites the Beatles and MAD magazine as his childhood mentors, “Ain’t gonna hang no pixels” is the break-up conversation about CHANGE, CREATIVITY and MISUNDERSTANDING with delightfully irreverent references to Emily Dickinson, Jack Kerouac, Marilyn Monroe, Alfred Hitchcock and more!

Not Comics #1 |
| by Colin Panetta |
|
|
| Not Comics is an anthology of short stories by comic book artist Colin Panetta created in collaboration with writers who don’t read comics. A couple of screenwriters, a playwright and an event organizer worked with Colin to create stories about out of control science, a monstrous husband, frightening youth and zombie fashion. In between each story are pages comprising a short story set in the universe of Panetta’s own graphic novel Dead Man Holiday. As a special bonus, the cover of this comic looks like the cover of a book, so people who don’t read comics do not have to be ashamed to read it in public. |
