Sarah Adam is an illustrator and painter currently working in southern Vermont. She specializes in digital and traditional media, including watercolor, pencils, ink, and acrylic. Most of her work is whimsical in nature, focusing on bright use of color, energy and imagination.
Sarah has recently published her first coloring activity book, ABC Picnic, which features lively animated foodstuffs representing the alphabet. She has completed other books for authors, and provided artwork for publications, non-profit organizations, and television programs. Her design was selected in 2008 to appear on a mug as a fund-raising award for NPR Western New England.
Juried exhibitions of Sarah’s work have been shown in several locations in western Massachusetts and southern Vermont, and on many occasions she has opened her home to open studios and showcasing area artists.
